I know alot of pwople.complain about the prices but if you plan ahead, use the circular of sales and the app for online coupons it's not bad at all price wise. The produce and deli are fantastic, the stop and shop meat from the butcher shop in store is better than any of the other prepackaged options and if you ask nicely they may even cut down some of the bigger cuts to a more appropriate size for a small family. The staff is what makes me come back. I have been going g tot stop and shop for over a decade since I moved to pawtucket and I can honestly say I know a good portion of the employees and everytime I go in I enjoy talking to them(hopefully.i don't get them in trouble) because it makes my day. If I can't find something they are happy to help and don't make me feel like I inconvenience them for asking. The robot guy is weird but even he makes my laugh with the gogglely eyes. I prefer it to market basket anyway. Especially for the parking alone!

It's close to my house and very convieient. Good selection of everything. Bakery is very good. Sales are also great, so get the flier every week for the best deals. They still use their own discount cards where other companies have gotten rid of them. I'm very happy going to this store.

Not sure what rock people commenting here are living under but to be upset about shelves not fully stocked really highlights their ignorance to a nationwide problem. Honestly, people will say anything to hear themselves talk... and it's. always negative...bad meat, bad milk, bad this week, bad next.. argh.. enough negativity. this store is great and I've had no issues. They work hard. and do a great job, despite unwarranted negative comments here.

Great customer service!! I went in last night for a cake for my mom’s birthday, but knowing me I went at the last minute, and the bakery was close, and the cake was behind the glass stand with the price tag underneath the cake and so I asked a guy from the deli department if he could just get the cake and give it to me because it was all set with the price tag and all, he said he couldn’t because he doesn’t work in that department and I was OK with it because I was the one who went late to the store, so I went back to the bakery and I was just walking around waiting to see if somebody was still in the back in the bakery working, 15 minutes later nothing, so I decided to go to the customer service and I asked the girl that was working there if I could speak to the manager and she said yeah so she called him right away. So this very kind man came to me and asked me what I need it, so I told him the whole story, that I needed the cake from behind the glass stand because that was my mom’s favorite cake. He was very warm and understanding. He walked with me to the bakery wash his hands so he could get me the cake. I’ve never had such awesome experience with a manager before they always look so busy and doing their thing. Thank you so much Sir! She’s enjoying a piece just now.

This is a pretty decent stop & shop compared to others in the area. They seem to be well-stocked and have a good inventory too.

This is one of the best Stop & Shops in the area. Their prices are a little high compared to other supermarkets in the area but the store itself is large, clean, and well-stocked. This one has one of the best international foods sections I’ve seen at a non-specialty, major grocery chain in the area. I didn’t buy meat here so can’t speak to the rotten meat comments that others have made, but the milk and eggs I bought had no problems.

Always well stocked... best person to go shopping with is the the robot... he doesn't tell you to but the snacks back!!!
